Boot your device into Download mode: Power off your device. Press and hold the Home + Volume Down + Power buttons together until you see a warning screen. Press the Volume Up button to continue to Download mode. Connect your device to the PC using a USB cable.
Open Odin on your PC and connect your phone to it (make sure USB drivers are installed on the PC).
Click on AP in Odin and select the CF-Auto-Root .tar.md5 file that you extracted earlier.
Ensure that Re-partition is NOT ticked, Auto Reboot and F Reset Time are ticked in Odin. DO NOT TICK THE RE-PARTITION OPTION IN ODIN! IT WILL WIPE YOUR DATA! If you accidentally do tick it, unplug your phone immediately, pull out its battery until it dies completely, then charges it up again till 100% completely before repeating this process from step 1 again!
